Cleveland 35, Palisades 26--Matthew Clark rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns and the Cavaliers opened with a victory over the host Dolphins for the third consecutive season.
Clark scored on runs of 24 and four yards in the third quarter. His seven-yard touchdown run and subsequent two-point conversion run gave Cleveland a 35-26 lead with 2:15 remaining.
