Rail-Pass Concept Takes to the Air

Europebyair.com, the Phoenix-based company that since 1998 has sold $99 flight coupons good for air travel within Europe, now offers 15- and 21-day passes.
Modeled on Rail Europe’s Eurail passes, the FlightPass Unlimited lets buyers book as many intra-European flights as they want within the covered period. The price is $699 for 15 days and $899 for 21 days. Customers can book flights in advance or on the go.
There are some caveats. Although Europebyair.com covers more than 130 destinations, including Paris and London, in 27 European countries, it uses mostly smaller, less familiar airlines.
