The Chamber of Commerce decided to discontinue its tradition of naming a Citizen of the Year, but the Rotary Club of Fountain Valley will take over the responsibility. The program recognizes one outstanding person from the Fountain Valley community and the next honoree will be named in February 2001. Nominations will be accepted until Jan. 31, 2001.
