Donna Karan Coming to South Coast Plaza

Fashion retailer Donna Karan International Inc. said Monday it plans to open a Donna Karan New York store at South Coast Plaza in March 2001.

The 1,900-square-foot store will carry women’s clothing and accessories as well as home products.

With annual sales of $661.8 million last year, Donna Karan labels include Donna Karan New York, DKNY, DKNY Jeans and DKNY Active.

The New York-based fashion house sells mainly to upscale department and specialty stores and through full-price and discount outlets in the United States and Britain.
