The Children’s Home Society of California will sponsor a free workshop Sept. 28 to offer legal advice for people who own, operate or direct a large family child-care home or a child-care center.
The workshop will cover topics such as how to hire or fire employees and establish personnel policies.
Laura Cunningham, a training administrator for the nonprofit organization, said the workshop will provide legal assistance for proprietors of small child-care facilities.
The workshop will be 7 to 9 p.m. at the La Habra Community Services building, 101 W. La Habra Blvd. For more information, call (714) 834-4933.
