The Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County will consider the consolidation of the Irvine Ranch Water District and the Los Alisos Water District at 9 a.m. today in the Hall of Administration, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana.
Nearly two-thirds of Lake Forest residents are served by the Los Alisos Water District. In a pre-consolidation agreement, both districts guaranteed an immediate rate reduction of 10% if the merger goes through.
