Sept. 19: Former presidential candidate Steve Forbes will provide commentary on the November election as part of the Reagan Forum, Reagan Presidential Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley, 6 p.m. Cost: $45, includes dinner. Tickets, 522-2977.
Sept. 21: Candidates in the 35th Assembly District race will participate in a public forum at the Four Points Hotel, Harbor View Room, 1050 Schooner Drive, Ventura, 6:30 p.m. The district includes Ventura, Ojai and Santa Paula. The event is free. For more information: 648-2875.
