Colgate Basketball Player Transferring to UC Irvine

Jordan Harris, a guard from Colgate, will transfer to UC Irvine, athletic department sources said.
Harris, who is 6 feet 5, 205 pounds, averaged 14 points and seven rebounds as a sophomore in 1999-2000. He scored 33 points in a game against Canisius.
He finished sixth in the Patriot League in scoring and was named second-team all-league.
Harris played at Brophy Prep in Arizona. He will be a redshirt this season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
