Women’s Chorus Seeking Voices

The Channelaire Chorus needs more voices.
The 100-member women’s singing group will host open enrollment practices at 7 p.m. each Tuesday beginning next week and extending to Oct. 31 at the Camarillo Village Square, 2370 E. Las Posas Road.
The group seeks singers of all levels to take part in weekly practices in Camarillo and concerts throughout the county. The introductory lessons cost $10 for music, said Beverly Springer, membership coordinator.
Prospective members are invited to sit in on a practice to learn more about the group, Springer said.
“People who are interested don’t have to read music,” she said. “We only ask they can carry a tune and love to sing.”
