More than 560 employees and families of the Garden Grove Unified School District will participate in the Orange County Race for the Cure on Sunday aimed at raising money to fight breast cancer.
“Team GGUSD,” led by two district administrators and one retired school principal--all cancer survivors--helped raise more than $15,000 this month for the event, to be held in Newport Beach.
Rosemary Davis, principal of Zeyen Elementary School, Eileen Dibb, director of employee-employer relations, and Margaret Ferguson, who retired in June as principal of Barker Elementary School, are among those expected Sunday at Fashion Island.
