The City Council approved an ordinance Wednesday to contract with Laguna Beach for animal-control services.
City Manager Leslie Keane said the Laguna Beach Animal Shelter is much closer than the county’s shelter. Keane said the contract also covers shelter services and related chores beginning Oct. 1.
Residents who need animal control next month can visit the shelter, 20612 Laguna Canyon Road, or call (949) 497-3552.
