The City Council will participate in “Rideshare Week” the week of Oct. 1 as part of the Southern California Assn. of Government’s 15th annual campaign. The campaign is aimed at encouraging commuters to use alternative transportation methods.
City officials are asking residents to carpool, bicycle, walk, telecommute and use alternative ways of getting to work and other places at least once during that week.
