Bell-Jeff 39, Riverside California School for the Deaf 0--Steven Slaughter rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown in seven carries for the Guards (2-1) in a nonleague victory at the California School for the Deaf (0-3).
Slaughter had a 50-yard touchdown run to give Bell-Jeff a 6-0 lead with 8:24 left in the first quarter.
Rene Garcia completed six of six passes for 88 yards, including two touchdown passes to Richard DeLeon.
Bell-Jeff led, 30-0, at halftime.
St. Bonaventure 28, Riverside Notre Dame 14--Lorenzo Booker rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Seraphs in a nonleague victory at Notre Dame (1-3).
Booker gave St. Bonaventure (3-0) a 6-0 lead with a 95-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and the Seraphs expanded the lead with a 22-point second period.
Jack Swisher threw scoring passes of 32 yards to Brandon Mascorro and 38 yards to Whitney Lewis. Booker closed out St. Bonaventure’s scoring with a 36-yard touchdown run.
