Mary Star 17, Village Christian 7--Marc Graff scored on a six-yard run and a 12-yard reception as the Stars broke a halftime tie in a nonleague victory at Kennedy High.
Neil Gunn of Village Christian (2-1) completed nine of 18 passes for 121 yards and Josh Martin ran eight times for 82 yards, including a three-yard touchdown that tied the score, 7-7, late in the first half.
Ian Martin caught five passes for 92 yards for the Crusaders.
Dennis Legaspi ran 22 times for 134 yards for Mary Star (1-1).
