Council members voted last week to approve the 2000-2001 budget for the Family Resources Center.
The $300,000 budget includes two new full-time staff positions, a center supervisor and clerk. The salary range of the supervisor position is from $3,300 to $4,300 monthly. The clerk’s salary range has yet to be determined.
The county-funded resources program provides counseling, shelter and other volunteer services to residents at locations throughout the city. Boys & Girls Club activities and youth scholarships are also available through the program.
The county Board of Supervisors has previously approved the budget. Funds will be available to the city Oct. 1.
