Singer-songwriter Emmett Tinley, who fronts this Irish quartet, is a striking new talent who has evoked comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Coldplay’s Chris Martin. However, the occasionally lush string and piano melodies, complemented by Tinley’s soulful vocals, create a melancholy beauty most reminiscent of the late cult figure Nick Drake. Tinley will play a solo show at Largo on Tuesday.
