* Tuesday, the Labor Department will report on second-quarter productivity.
* Tuesday, the Fed will release its statistics on consumer borrowing through credit cards, auto loans and other installment programs for June.
* Wednesday, the Commerce Department reports on inventories at U.S. wholesalers for June.
* Wednesday, the Fed issues its periodic regional economic report card--the “beige book”--which is likely to portray tame inflation and slow growth, analysts said. That survey, based on reports from the Fed’s 12 district banks, is published eight times a year, roughly two weeks before each meeting of the Fed’s policy-setting Open Market Committee.
* Thursday, the Labor Department reports on import prices for July.
