A man who had been shot in the face arrived at a hospital early Sunday morning, saying the shooting occurred at a North Hollywood gas station, police said.
Officers were called to Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center about 2:30 a.m., said Lt. Steven Stein of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, described only as a Latino man in his 20s, had been dropped off at the hospital by a group of men, authorities said. He was later transferred to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
