“Recently I’ve been drinking the ’99 Willi Schaefer QbA Rieslings. They are really fabulous--they’re really exotic, spicy wines, almost dry--very versatile. They go with shrimp, crab, but have enough acidity to go with salads. I really like the German Rieslings from the Nahe and Mosel ....They’re not heavy or ponderous ....They go great with food, great with summer, and are like the last deal out there.”
