SoCal Water Polo Teams Are Impressive Again

The SoCal girls’ water polo club won medals in all three age groups for the second consecutive year at the National Junior Olympic Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich.
The SoCal club, based in Tustin, won a gold medal in the girls’ 14-under division, a silver in the 18-under division and a bronze in the 16-under division.
The San Diego Shores girls’ teams also won three medals Wednesday: gold in 18-under and silver and bronze in 14-under, a division in which they entered two teams. Long Beach Shores won the 16-under gold, Golden West won the 16-under silver and Commerce Aquatics won the 18-under bronze.
The boys’ competition began Wednesday and ends Saturday.
