Foster Care Meeting Set

An orientation on Ventura County’s foster care system will be held Thursday in Camarillo for adults interested in providing care to mistreated children.
The session will begin at 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express, 4444 Central Ave. Homes for abused and neglected children are sorely needed, county officials say.
