San Bernardino County sheriff’s investigators are searching for a Bloomington man suspected of killing his wife and her mother at their home early Sunday.
Authorities suspect Jose Martinez, 31, fatally stabbed his wife, Haydee, 29, and mother-in-law, Gloria Lara, 53. Investigators think Martinez drove off in Haydee’s light-blue four-door 1996 Nissan Sentra. The California license plate is 4EQV191.
Sheriff’s spokesman Chip Patterson said one of the couple’s children, a 3-year-old, was in the house but wasn’t harmed. Police did not know of a motive for the killings.
