From Times Staff Reports
An agency that for years has helped the poor and homeless in Los Angeles and Santa Monica find jobs has opened a branch in the Valley.
The nonprofit group Chrysalis now has an office at 14015 Van Nuys Blvd. in Pacoima.
Since 1984, Chrysalis has provided employment services to the jobless referred by homeless shelters, substance abuse recovery clinics and other social service agencies. Clients typically don’t have the interview skills, proper clothes or contacts to begin a job search.
