Murderer Returned to Prison After Escape

An escaped murderer serving two life sentences for drowning his sister and nephew was captured by police in Ridgeville.
Anthony Brown, 30, was tracked to an abandoned house, authorities said.
Brown is believed to have escaped from the state’s maximum security prison Friday. He had been gone about 12 hours before a routine prison count showed he was missing from the Lieber Correctional Institution.
Prison officials think Brown hid inside a tractor-trailer being loaded inside the prison. Brown then cut a hole in the side after it was parked outside the prison fence.
