In her most recent photographs, artist Naida Osline uses parts of the body and makeup or prosthetics to suggest the melding of the biological and the technological. Her images in the exhibit “Deeper Skin” function as metaphors for the altered human in an era of genetic engineering and cosmetic transformation.* “Deeper Skin,” Grand Central Art Center, 125 N. Broadway, Suite A, Santa Ana. Artist reception: Saturday, 7-10 p.m. Gallery hours: Tuesdays-Sundays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free. Ends Oct. 28. (715) 567-7233.
