UC Davis (2-1) at UC Irvine (4-2), 7 p.m., KUCI-FM (88.9)--Irvine guard Jerry Green scored 36 points in a 71-59 victory Wednesday at Loyola Marymount. Green is averaging 25 points a game. Dominic Callori leads UC Davis with 14.3 points and seven rebounds a game.

Pepperdine (2-1) at Utah (2-2), 6 p.m.--The Waves scored an upset against UCLA, riding Jimmy Miggins’ 20 points and 11 rebounds to an 85-78 victory Wednesday. Redshirt freshman Terrance Johnson had 12 points against the Bruins. Utah lost to Utah State, 78-65, the Utes’ most decisive loss at home since 1992.

St. Mary’s (1-3) at UC Santa Barbara (3-1), 7 p.m., KEYT (1250)--Santa Barbara rebounded from an 11-point loss to USC with a 10-point win over Brigham Young. The Gauchos were stunned by St. Mary’s last season, 71-63. St. Mary’s, which went 2-27 last year, ended a 23-game losing streak Wednesday with a 78-64 victory over Cal State Sacramento.

Cal State Northridge (1-2) at San Diego State (3-2), 7 p.m.--After advancing to the NCAA tournament last season for the first time, Northridge has started slowly and was blasted by Howard, 99-65, on Monday. Guard Markus Carr was held to five points and one assist against the Bison. Aztec guard Tony Bland, a transfer from Syracuse who went to Westchester High, has scored at least 20 points in every game this season.
