Buffet-Table Nibbler

Referring to Rick Stone’s comment (“No Free Lunch,” Nov. 11) about Arthur Frommer’s recommendation of using Ziploc bags for a quick lunch off the breakfast table: I would like to admit I have done this for years all over the world in a very discreet manner.

When I am traveling, usually by train, I prefer to buy a glass of wine and pull out my tidbits of cheese and crackers, perhaps some liver spread and a piece of fruit and enjoy.
