WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Pepperdine 61, Gonzaga 56--Damaris Hinojosa had 15 points and six rebounds, and Nadja Morgan had 14 points and six rebounds for the Waves in a West Coast Conference victory at Spokane, Wash.

Pepperdine (15-7, 5-2 in conference play) led, 30-22, at halftime and converted 17 turnovers by Gonzaga (5-15, 0-7) into 17 points.

CS Northridge 75, CS Sacramento 70--The Matadors built an 11-point halftime lead and held on for a Big Sky Conference victory at Cal State Sacramento (3-14, 1-6).

Sha’Tasha Allen had 17 points and five steals, and Myesha Saleem and Kristi Rose each added 13 points for Cal State Northridge (9-11, 5-4). Saleem also had 11 rebounds.
