* Fisher-Price Inc., a unit of El Segundo-based Mattel Inc., accused rival Safety 1st Inc. of infringing three U.S. patents for baby equipment. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Delaware, East Aurora, N.Y.-based Fisher-Price said it owns three patents awarded since 1997 for a collapsible bassinet, an all-terrain stroller and an ornamental play-space design. Officials of Canton, Mass.-based Safety 1st, which was acquired by Dorel Industries of Canada last year, were not immediately available for comment.
