Two teenage boys found shot to death in a Watts garage on the Fourth of July have been identified, police said.
Juan Carlos Rivera, 15, and Danny Ramos, 16, were found by a neighbor who knew they sometimes slept in the garage, said Los Angeles Police Department homicide Det. Stephanie Barr.
The garage was known in the neighborhood as a crash pad for teenagers, she said.
“Both victims were associated with a neighborhood gang,” Barr said. “At this point, we have no new leads.”
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Barr or Det. Roger Allen at (213) 485-6902.
