Hansen Reaches Final of USTA Super National

Sixth-seeded Logan Hansen of Santa Monica defeated fourth-seeded Jennifer Stevens of Miami, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, Friday, advancing to today’s final match of the U.S. Tennis Assn. Girls’ 12 Super National Hardcourt Championships in Alpharetta, Ga.
Hansen, a semifinalist in the Southern California Tennis Assn. girls’ 12 sectional championships two weeks ago, faces top-seeded Julia Cohen of Weston, Fla.
Cohen defeated third-seeded Maggie Mello of Laguna Beach, 6-2, 6-2.
