Man Sought in Kentucky Turns Himself In

A 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting in Louisville, Ky., turned himself in Monday to sheriff’s detectives in Palmdale, authorities said.
Amir Rashard Dukes, 22, is wanted on suspicion of assault and wanton endangerment in connection with the May 31 shooting that left an 18-year-old man partially paralyzed, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Det. Christopher Keeling said.
The incident may have been gang-related, a Louisville police spokeswoman said.
Dukes’ mother apparently talked him into turning himself in. He is in Los Angeles County Jail awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
