Woman, 32, Killed in Head-On Collision

A 32-year-old woman was fatally injured Tuesday in a head-on collision in Laguna Niguel, police said.
The woman, whose identity was withheld pending notification of relatives, was driving eastbound on Crown Valley Parkway about 7:30 p.m., police said, when her Saturn collided with an oncoming sport-utility vehicle near Greenfield Drive.
“It appears that one of the vehicles crossed the center divider, causing the accident,” said Lt. Mark Billings, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. “We’re not sure which one it was.”
The other driver was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, Billings said. Neither his identity nor condition were available late Tuesday.
