Support Grows for El Toro Airport

The majority of Orange County residents are against building an international airport at the closed El Toro Marine base, but support has increased slightly, a survey by Cal State Fullerton and the Orange County Business Council found.
About 53% said they either “strongly oppose” or “oppose” building an airport there. About 47% told interviewers they either “strongly support” or “support” the airport.
