5-Year-Old Girl Dies in Freeway Pileup

A 5-year-old girl was killed Saturday and several people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound Pomona Freeway, authorities said.
The accident near Phillips Ranch Road at 10:11 a.m. involved as many as eight cars and left three people critically injured, said California Highway Patrol Officer Charles Blair.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
