* In “No Money, No Space, No Patience--the New Refugee Welcome” (Opinion, Feb. 25), Paula Newberg writes that, worldwide, refugees are finding doors closed to them. Nowhere in the article does she address the fundamental underlying cause--overpopulation in both the sending and potentially unwilling receiving countries.
Unless family planning tools and small-family advocacy become the norms in all countries of the world, including the United States, refugee problems have no positive solutions.
