Brandon Dotts
Fountain Valley, Swimming
The senior was named Sunset League swimmer of the year after he helped lead Fountain Valley to a seven-
point victory over Edison on Friday,
giving the Barons the league title. Dotts, who is headed to UC Santa Barbara, won the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.08, and with the victory he went undefeated in league in that event for four years. He also won the 100 backstroke (52.82) and led off the winning 200 freestyle relay.

Woodbridge, Tennis
Rallied to defeat Irvine’s Eric Aarnaes and win the Sea View League singles title Thursday, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Edison, Golf
Shot 1-over-par 36 to lead the Chargers to an upset of No. 8 Esperanza and a share of the Sunset League title.
Brooke Weekley
Capistrano Valley, Softball
The sophomore pitched a perfect game Wednesday in a 2-0 victory over Mission Viejo. Weekley, who improved to 14-5 this season, also pitched a complete game in the Cougars’ 6-2 victory
over El Toro on Friday. She went three for five against El Toro, including a double, and drove in three runs and scored one to help keep Capistrano Valley in a first-place tie with Dana Hills in the South Coast League.

Mission Viejo, Track and Field
Led the Diablos to their 19th consecutive league title with victories in the 100 hurdles, the long jump and high jump.
* Kaitlin Sandeno
El Toro, Swimming
Set a Southern Section record in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:00.16, topping her old record of 2:00.19.
