* Wild West--The city of Ventura will present “Cowboys, Heroes & Outlaws: Passport to the American West” on May 19 at Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive, Ventura. * Festival--The California Strawberry Festival will return May 19-20 to Strawberry Meadows at College Park, 3250 S. Rose Ave., Oxnard. * Family--Soroptimist International of Fillmore will host its annual Family Fishing Derby on May 20 at Lake Piru Recreation Area, 4780 Piru Canyon Road, Piru. * Classical--The Ventura College Community Orchestra will present “Springtime Strings” on Wednesday at Ventura College Theater, on Loma Vista Road between Ashwood Avenue and Day Road.
