Put two champions of slow, hazy rock together and you get . . . slow, hazy rock. This seventh of the “Fishtank” series, which gives two compatible acts two days together in an Amsterdam studio, will please if not surprise fans of both Minnesota’s Low and Australia’s Dirty Three. The former’s singer, Mimi Parker, and the latter’s violinist, Warren Ellis, are at the lugubrious fore, especially when transforming Neil Young’s garage-rock classic “Down by the River” into an opium dream.
