Girl, 2, Dies After Rescue in Storm-Engorged Creek

A girl, 2, pulled out of a flooded creek has become the 10th person to die because of torrential downpours in storm-battered Texas.
Alyssa Faye Murphy died Friday, a day after she was rescued from the creek, said a spokeswoman for Scott & White hospital in Temple.
Up to 13 inches of rain fell in Texas on Thursday and Friday.
Austin crews continued cleaning up sewage spills resulting from flood damage to city waste-water pumping stations. Two plants fed millions of gallons of sewage into the Colorado River.
