Sewage Spill Closes Portion of the Bay

A sewage spill closed part of Newport Bay on Monday, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. A blocked sewer line on private property sent 500 gallons of raw sewage into the bay, closing the waters from Harbor Patrol Beach to China Cove Beach.
