Two men arrested in connection with a credit card fraud ring at the Camarillo Premium Outlet Mall have pleaded guilty to forgery and theft charges.
Tigran Petrosyan, 31, of Burbank and Gregor Babayan, 27, of Reseda entered their pleas during a hearing in Ventura County Superior Court. Sentencing is set for Feb. 15.
Petrosyan and Babayan were arrested in October after they tried to buy nearly $40,000 worth of merchandise from stores at the mall.
When one of the credit cards they attempted to use was declined, an employee followed the men to the parking lot, took down their license plate number and called police.
Investigators found software equipment used to manufacture credit cards, counterfeit checks and a handgun during a home search.
