The family of a young mother who was shot to death as she sat in her car in front of her Boyle Heights home asked for the public’s help Sunday in catching her killer.
Monica Castillo, 25, was shot once in the chest at 11:15 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Siskiyou Street. Castillo was the mother of two children and was three months pregnant when she was shot, said Erma Corza, her aunt.
