$10,000 Reward Offered in Fatal Shooting of Boy

Buena Park police offered a $10,000 reward Wednesday for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of whoever fired the shot into the air on the Fourth of July that killed a 9-year-old boy.
Xavier Morales of Anaheim was watching fireworks when a bullet pierced his side, passed through his lungs and severed his aorta.
Police Sgt. Rich Pena said the bullet could have been fired from as far as a mile away.
