2 Locations to Accept Used Motor Oil

Amateur mechanics who do their own oil changes can recycle the used lubricant in Moorpark on Saturday morning and at Somis Elementary School that afternoon.

Used motor oil that has not been contaminated with other fluids, along with oil filters placed in leakproof bags or containers, can be dropped off at Moorpark 76, 506 E. Los Angeles Ave., from 8 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 4 p.m. in the school parking lot at 5268 North St., Somis.
