Seven Golfers From Region Chosen for Canon Cup Team

Seven Southland golfers have been selected to the 20-player West team for the Canon Cup competition, the American Junior Golf Assn. announced.
Sueng Su Han of Chino Hills, Daniel Im of La Mirada, Anthony Kim of La Quinta, Kevin Larsen of Santa Barbara, Henry Liaw of Rowland Heights, Erica Blasberg of Corona and Irene Cho of La Habra will participate in the Ryder Cup-style competition that pits the top 10 boys and girls from the Western United States against their counterparts from the East.
The tournament is Aug. 5-8 at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill.
