Injury: ‘N Sync’s Justin Timberlake broke his foot while rehearsing over the weekend for a British TV appearance, forcing the cancellation of a two-week promotional tour in connection with his first solo album, “Justified,” a spokesman said Wednesday.
Vegas-bound: After 37 years in Los Angeles, the Academy of Country Music awards ceremony will shift to Las Vegas next year to “reenergize the look and feel of the show,” a spokesman said Wednesday. The ceremony, set for May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, airs on CBS.
Concert: Audioslave and Billy Corgan’s new band, Zwan, will be among the acts on the first night of the annual KROQ Acoustic Christmas on Dec. 7, while the Dec. 8 lineup includes Beck with the Flaming Lips, Coldplay and Creed. Tickets for the Universal Amphitheatre shows go on sale Nov. 30. Others on the bills: Dashboard Confessional, the Vines, Queens of the Stone Age, Jack Johnson and P.O.D.
