Court Clerk Faces Bribery Charges

A Stanislaus County court clerk has been arrested on charges of accepting bribes and fixing court records.
Jody Lynn Bleakley, 30, of Turlock was being held Thursday in lieu of $15,000 bail after being arrested Wednesday with court documents in her purse.
Bleakley faces charges of accepting bribes as a public official and altering government documents in a computer database, said Assistant Dist. Atty. Carol Shipley.
