How dare the Pac-10 rule that Kareem Kelly’s “touchdown” catch against California should not have counted. Don’t they know that (a) USC has a long and storied history of “phantom” touchdowns and (b) no less a rules authority than Kelly himself stated after the game that “the ground can help secure a catch”?
