Check Restaurants Out

Re “Restaurant Grades Get High Marks,” Oct. 17: More information can be found at www .lapublichealth.org/rating. Not only does it list the current grade, but you can also click on “more info” to read a list of the violations; e.g., not maintained clean, wiping rag, hazardous material/chemicals. The site also shows the inspection history. We check the site before we eat out and we patronize only the ones with an A rating. Even if a restaurant has an A, it still depends on the violations; we avoid restaurants that constantly are in the low 90s.
